Spawn DJs

As well as the main 4 DJs there are also SPAWNS Of The Apocalypse.

A group of both established and up and coming DJs collected from all over, to add their talents to the team. After all the 4 DJs do need some time off for drinking!

SPAWN Gal Brown aka “DJ Massacre”

– Winner of the original 4DJOTA Battle of the DJ’s back in 2008. After successfully making it through the initial heats and the final itself; Massacre had the honour of playing at Bloodstock 2008 – easily one of his proudest achievements!

Upon returning from Bloodstock 2008 – Massacre joined the 4DJOTA on their tour; playing at venues in London and Peterborough.

Since then Massacre has played at clubs primarily in his homeland of Essex, including; Flux Capacitor (Romford) CHURCH of ROCK (Romford) and S.N.A.P (Southend). A fan of Stoner/Southern Rock, Metal and “the kind of classics you’d find in your Dad’s record collection” – you’d be most likely to hear him playing; Kyuss, Black Label Society, Scissorfight, Down, Clutch, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, ManOwaR and Killswitch Engage.

SPAWN Lee hughes aka “DJ Pnut”

Let me take you on a whimsical journey back to a 12 year old pnut at a youth club family disco. My first hand at djing came as a bit of an odd experience I used cassette tapes, and had to turn them over when one side was finished…..
Fast-forward to 2010 when I found out about the ultimate DJ comp.
Unfortunately I lost in the second round by 2 points to DJ corruption who is now DJ pestilence!

A few months after the comp I was given a chance to become 4djota’s warm up dj at church of rock (Romford) which I was very happy with until DJ Death made me an offer I couldn’t refuse………………….. He said please.

I’m a firm believer in old school!!! But my musical influences are about as diverse as the people who listen really.
Ranging from and through the spectrums of Rock, Metal, Grunge, Punk, Ska, Industrial, Classic (60’s onwards) and many more.
So do not be surprised if you hear me play bands like: Ill Niño, Machine Head, Amon Amarth, Turisas, Job For A Cowboy, Polkadot Cadaver, Skindred, Coal Chamber, Tool, Fear Factory, etc… and then cut into bands such as: Cream, Free, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Queen, the Scorpions, Judas Priest, Kiss, Styx, Boston etc…

SPAWN Dan Kelly aka “DJ Ledge”

– First time I touched a set of decks was in the Ultimate DJ Battle 2010, it so happened that my first battle i had to lock horns with my best mate, naturally this calls for an epic battle that not only saw the highest score of the DJ battles up to that point but a complete tie breaker between me and DJ Machine. Now I’m hooked! I love stepping up behind those decks and playing the music that floats around in my head all day to all of you.

I have loads of influences ranging genres like: Rock / Grunge / Punk / Metal / Industrial
Including bands like: Foo Fighters, One minute Silence, Godsmack, Offspring, Cold, Soundgarden, Alter Bridge, Korn, Bad Religion, The Prodigy, Static-X, Slipknot, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Spineshank, Machine Head, System of a Down, Deftones, and loads loads more. I’ll see you on the dance floor!

Ross Chandler AKA “DJ RedRum”

– The first time i touched a set of decks was February 29th 2012 at a 4djota open decks night, I was incredibly nervous but with the help and guidance of Death and War i pulled through the first half hour of my DJ life and haven’t looked back since.
Two weeks after that i enlisted in the ultimate DJ competition, I went on to become the Ultimate DJ 2012, beating DJ Monkey at the Southend final and DJ Manticore in the overall grand final.

My first experiences of rock came early in my life, listening to great classics such as Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix to name a few.
I then progressed to the likes of Static-X, Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000 and Rammstein around the age of 13.

I greatly enjoy the classics, Industrial metal, Nu metal and Stoner Rock. Music was, is and always will be a very important part of my life.
